Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using PaperCuts.io, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

PaperCuts.io provides real-time and file-based audio transcription, translation, speaker identification, and AI-assisted analysis tools for documentary and research workflows.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • •You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • •You may not share account access in ways that circumvent per-user seat licensing.
  • •You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use PaperCuts.io to:

  • •Transcribe audio you do not have the right to record or process.
  • •Record individuals without their consent where required by law.
  • •Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
  • •Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of your audio files and transcripts. By uploading content, you grant CineTools.io a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. AI-Generated Content

PaperCuts.io uses AI to produce transcripts, translations, summaries, and analysis. These outputs can contain mistakes. Review any AI-generated content before using it in a professional context or publishing it.

7. Google Integration

When you connect a Google account, you authorize PaperCuts.io to create Google Docs on your behalf. PaperCuts.io does not read, modify, or delete any existing files in your Google Drive. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings or from within PaperCuts.io.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or service changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CineTools.io's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding a claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CineTools.io is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
